ICEC offers moral and ethical inputs to the environmental movement, in particular the environmental work at the UN. Supporting youth initiatives is a practical way of doing so, as youth carry the powerful concern of the upcoming generation about the environmental legacy they're inheriting. Some see the current overuse of the world's resources as stealing from the upcoming and future generations.

We aim to be strategically supportive to youth in the many ways they are engaging with the UN processes. So far, we have been able to link some youth groups working towards Rio+20, and offer them the Earth Charter as a resource for strengthening their own moral language. Below you will find three different sections: By Youth, With Youth, and The UN and Youth. Each section highlights specific types of youth initiatives that we believe are particularly impactful.
