66 Interfaith Visionaries who came together in 2010 for the TOU’s 50th Anniversary are now prepared for service to the UN and other world bodies by offering moral resources to clarify decision making on all aspects of creating a green economy. They represent dozens of faiths, beliefs, and cultures, including those of non-western societies. This group will convene around the four other projects in the US and abroad before the UN Conference on Sustainable Development in June 2012 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The objective is to raise the ethical dimensions of the need for concrete actions to rectify a swiftly deteriorating world environment.
